Finals week has started and I just finished my first exam, which was Spanish. I actually felt sad when I turned that paper in. Not because I did bad lol, but because I&#8217;ve learned so much in that class and got to know some amazing people. This class was so different from a normal college class. We actually got to be social and get to know each other. Our professor even gave us a hug goodbye! I wish I would have thought to take a group class picture! If you know me, you know in high school I was NEVER a fan of Spanish class. I thought I&#8217;d never take another Spanish class in my life. Never say never huh?  That class ending today just made reality set in even more. I&#8217;m going home soon and there&#8217;s absolutely no way I can slow these days down. Ahh I feel sad just writing this. As I quickly found out, its not just a bull running around chasing a man with a red flag. The point of the fight is to kill the bull. I&#8217;ve never seen something like that in my life! They have 6 bulls and they tease them with the red flag and have them run after them for a little, and then they bring out a man on a horse that is blind folded and covered in padding and the bulls runs up and attacks the horse. The man on the horse then stabs the bull several times. Then the man on the horse leaves and the bull goes back to chasing the men with the red flags and they continue to strike it. It was crazy to see the people cheering them on every time they stabbed the bull. Its basically like little pieces of rice, mixed with vegetables, chicken, olives, and almonds. It tasted okay, it was kind of dry, nothing a little soy sauce can&#8217;t fix!</p> <p><img src="http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m3arcynWgU1r4mnj8.jpg"/></p> <p>I&#8217;ve noticed that being overseas it seems like a lot of places like to mix their foods together. In America I&#8217;m use to having a space for my chicken, a space for my salad, and a space for my french fries. Well here they&#8217;ll just put it all mixed together onto one plate. This dish was chicken, olives, and french fries.</p> <p><img src="http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m3asuj2dQL1r4mnj8.jpg"/></p> <p>For majority of our meals in Africa, we didn&#8217;t get a &#8220;real&#8221; dessert. What they see as dessert is a plate of fruit! Scary huh? Well I guess thats why people in these different countries are on average a lot smaller then many Americans.
